MICA Welcomes Paul da Silva of Meat & Livestock Australia to the Board

The Meat Import Council of America (MICA) is delighted to welcome Paul da Silva of Meat & Livestock Australia (MLA) to its Board of Directors. Da Silva serves as MLA's Regional Manager of North America, leading market development and stakeholder engagement activities across the United States, Canada, and Mexico, the largest export market for the Australian red meat industry. He works closely with importers, customers, and supply chain partners to support demand, build trust, and strengthen long-term commercial relationships.

Da Silva brings deep experience in the global meat and agribusiness sector, with a strong track record in market development, brand strategy, and industry engagement. His career includes senior marketing roles with major Australian meat companies, where he has been responsible for brand development, consumer insights, new product development, and integrated communications.

The MICA board will benefit from the perspective and international market expertise da Silva will contribute to the association as we continue to champion advocacy, market access, and industry collaboration on behalf of U.S. meat importers.
